Everlea

About the Band

Justin Dubé, Casey Shea, Brendan Soares and Dave Braumburger are the four members that make up the local Toronto band, Everlea. Originally from Kingston, Ontario, Justin, Casey and Brendan formed their band in high school with their friend James Young. At first, the four members decided on the name 'Saucepan Heroes', but quickly changed to Everlea. The band released their EP Friends Hurt Friends in 2004 after experimenting with their sound for a few years. The band has changed bass players several times, sometimes for a tour and others for recording songs. The current bass player is Dave Braumburger who has shown that he is the perfect fit for Everlea.

The band was once signed by Glassnote Entertainment Group to record their self-titled album. Since then, they parted ways with the record group and have been recording songs on their own to produce their fourth album, Shelter, which is set to be released in the summer of 2011. The band was able to release their third album, In Bedrooms and Basements, electronically with Christy Ridge Records in 2011. Everlea recently moved to Toronto with hopes of being closer to the music scene.
